Play Hockey, Make a Difference
Chaser’s Frozen Cup started as a fun-filled day of good ole outdoor hockey for a cause. In just a few years, we are pleased to say that The Frozen Cup has grown into a smash-hit annual event and the donations have followed. In loving memory of four-year-old Chase Miller Pottorff, we created The Frozen Cup hockey tournament to support St. Louis families as they cope with the uncertain future of ASD and provide financial help with costly autism treatments. Chase’s short life left an important mark on our world; we will continue to honor his legacy and fight to end autism.
Bundle up and come on out to Clayton Shaw Park this February! Our single-elimination fast-paced hockey tournament is open to anyone 18 and up who wants to play alongside a few retired St. Louis Blues players. We also need volunteers and invite fans to show up and cheer on their favorite teams. We have a warming station, food, beverages, and wearable merchandise for sale.
The winning team of The Frozen Cup Championship keeps the trophy engraved with their names for the entire year! Just like the Stanley Cup, we expect the winning team to share the trophy throughout the year and spread awareness for autism. The winning team must bring it back next year and try to retain the title and The Frozen Cup trophy.
We know first-hand the emotional, physical, and financial hurdles of an ASD diagnosis and want to bring hope to the lives of the families affected by autism. Together with Chase’s legacy, we can make great strides to change the face and future of autism.
