Hockey & Golf for Autism
For tons of fun and a sense of community, join The Frozen Cup and The Melted Cup hockey tournaments in February and July to help raise awareness and funds for St. Louis families affected by autism. If you’re a golf enthusiast, we have partnered with the annual Fore-A-Cause Golf Tournament in October too!
The Frozen Cup & The Melted Cup
Chaser’s hockey tournaments are dedicated to raising funds for autism awareness and financial support for local St. Louis families. In loving memory of four-year-old Chase Miller Pottorff, we created The Frozen Cup in 2012 to build autism awareness and help families cope with the uncertainty of ASD while offsetting costly treatments. In 2016, we added The Melted Cup Sauce Toss Tournament to add year-round hockey fun to the sizzling summer months and beef up our donation power.
Fore-A-Cause Golf Tourney
We are excited to announce that Mr. Steve Lewandoski has decided to partner with The Frozen Cup for his annual Fore-A-Cause Golf Tournament at Tapawingo National Golf Club in St. Louis. Whether you’re an avid golfer or a beginner–come join us for a beautiful day in October and golf for autism. Fore-A-Cause is a fast-paced, relaxed scramble open to anyone who wants to make a difference in the lives of families affected by ASD. Help us shut out autism today!
Why Autism?
A very special little boy named Chase was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) at the age of two. After many months of rigorous and costly autism therapy, Chase broke through the communication barriers that limited him. He developed words and started a revolution for other ASD children by communicating via iPod and iPad. In his short time on earth, Chase helped the autism community find hope.
The emotional, physical, and financial hurdles of an ASD diagnosis can be crushing; we want to bring hope to the lives of the families affected by autism. The Frozen Cup 501(c)(3) non-profit is dedicated to Chase’s legacy. Through him, we saw the potential for new heights in ASD children and decided one little boy’s life didn’t have to end in tragedy. Together, we can make great strides to change the face and future of autism.
Thank You
Each year we’ve come together as a community, doubled our donation power, and helped many local families get the help they so badly needed. Thank you to our volunteers, fans, players, sponsors, donators, and all who help share our cause.
